In fact, some of our favorite stars have grabbed up nods, including Justin, Selena, Carly, Demi and One Direction. So here’s the breakdown for those guys. Carly Rae Jepsen and One Direction — along with Fun, Frank Ocean and the Wanter — got nominated for Best New Artist. Best Male Video include Justin Bieber’s Boyfriend along with nods for Drake, Frank Ocean, Chris Brown and Usher. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez and the Scene got a Best Female Video nod for Love You Like A Love Song along with Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj. Best Pop Video has One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful going head-to-head with JB’s Boyfriend along with We Are Young by Fun ft.
